Best VPet!
I would like to start by saying that Kurama Toys is awesome and super easy and are very friendly and helpful. As a long time Digimon fan I was super excited to see a new take on the classic VPet toys. When the D3 was released it had a hook on the back for things like a belt loop or pocket to act as a pedometer-esque toy. As you would walk or shake your toy the “pendulum” would count and it’d lead you to battles and whatnot. They’ve expanded on that by integrating a heart rate monitor in addition to a pedometer. The pedometer can be a bit sensitive and tends to counts steps even while sitting but seems very accurate as you walk, as such it feels best to view your steps more as an indication of general movement. The heart rate monitor is surprisingly accurate for a toy as it only tends to be off by 2-4 BPM. It also has a minimum BPM of 65. It’s very important to know that this is a toy and not a suitable replacement for an activity tracker or medical. It’s great fun for me and I plan on purchasing one for each of my children!
